Job Opportunity

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a pool of part-time Lecturers in Accounting to teach classes in the Business School. This is a temporary, non-tenure-track position with appointments made semester-by-semester as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach classes in Accounting, including lectures in all teaching modes (in person, hybrid, online, remote)
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental and university service activities

Requirements:

  • Master's or higher degree in Accounting or closely related field
  • Recent significant professional, technical, or managerial experience in the discipline related to the teaching assignment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience teaching in Accounting
  • Professional certification/licensure in accounting or allied field, e.g., CPA, CMA

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $4,915 to $5,360 depending upon course level. The University of Colorado offers a full benefits package, including health insurance, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
