Finance Lecturer

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a pool of qualified individuals to teach finance courses on a part-time basis. As a Lecturer in Finance, you will be responsible for teaching classes in the Business School, with a focus on delivering high-quality instruction and engaging students in the learning process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach finance courses, including lectures, discussions, and assignments
• Develop and implement course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments
• Engage with students, respond to their questions and concerns, and provide feedback on their progress
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives

Requirements:

• Master's or higher degree in finance or a closely related field
• Recent significant professional, technical, or managerial experience in finance or a related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior online teaching experience in finance
• Professional designations such as CFA or CFP
• Experience with curriculum development and implementation
