Position Overview

As a Financial Advisor, you will analyze and advise clients on investment opportunities tailored to their financial objectives. Your role will involve recommending suitable financial strategies that align with both short-term and long-term goals. You will prepare and present comprehensive financial plans, which may encompass portfolio assessments, asset growth strategies, retirement planning, and investment allocation techniques. Additionally, you will work to enhance the overall engagement and satisfaction of our investment services among existing clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet individual and team sales targets by collaborating with colleagues to generate client referrals.
  • Inspire, educate, and mentor team members to seek quality referrals.
  • Engage with potential clients through outreach efforts, including networking and seminars.
  • Cross-promote financial products and services, ensuring a balanced approach to client needs.
  • Assist clients with retirement planning, estate strategies, education funding, and investment options.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all financial products and services offered by The Ladders.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing requirements, including maintaining necessary financial licenses.
  • Participate in community events to connect with potential clients.
  • Keep accurate records and files in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Possess knowledge of retirement accounts and trust services.
  • Familiarize yourself with the operational guidelines and philosophy of the firm.
  • Support other areas as directed by management.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in delivering personal investment services, including at least 1 year within a financial institution.
  • Successful completion of required financial licenses, including Series 7 and Series 66.
