Role Summary:
The Culinary Preparation Specialist will be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing high-quality food production for menu items and specials, adhering to established standards and presentation guidelines. You will ensure the organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of your work area and equipment.
Compensation: $16 - $18 / hour

- Prepare all menu items according to recipe specifications and ensure adherence to product sensitivity and presentation standards.
- Read and execute orders accurately.
- Maintain superior quality in the production of all food items.
- Work efficiently to ensure timely output of menu items.
- Stay updated on recipe modifications and ensure proper execution of procedures for consistent quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area throughout your shift.
- Complete assigned prep work for stocking and setting up your station, and thoroughly clean your station at the end of each day.
- Ensure proper rotation of all products and label, date, and sign all items. Obtain necessary approvals from Chef/Manager.
- Adhere to company policies and safety procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including stock counts and labeling to support efficient kitchen operations.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current food safety certification, such as ServSafe or SafeStaff (can be obtained upon hire).
Preferred 1 year of relevant experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent lifting, moving, and carrying of kitchen equipment and food items weighing up to 30-40 pounds.
- Regular standing and walking to prepare food and maintain work areas.
- Occasional ascending/descending stairs to transport food and equipment.
- Repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers.
