Company Overview:

DRB Group is a leader in the residential construction industry, dedicated to fostering growth within our Production and Architectural departments. We are seeking skilled professionals for our Architectural Project Management roles, which serve as a vital link between our Corporate Architecture team and external consultants, as well as assigned divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of residential design and construction initiatives from initial concept to final completion.
  • Assist senior management in meeting departmental objectives, including the development of project timelines, budgets, and resource distribution.
  • Engage collaboratively with architects, engineers, and division teams to enhance project plans and specifications.
  • Facilitate the resolution of field-related issues, permit feedback, and divisional modifications in accordance with DRB Homes' standards.
  • Evaluate and support the approval process for architectural drawings, construction documents, and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building regulations and codes throughout all projects.
  • Review and manage the creation of lot-specific drawings.
  • Prepare comprehensive project status reports and documentation for senior project managers and other stakeholders at DRB Homes.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Understanding of residential construction processes and operations.
  • Capability to create, interpret, and modify CAD drawings, architectural blueprints, and engineering schematics.
  • Experience with NEWSTAR/BuildPro is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Education and Experience:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with 1-3 years of experience in architectural project management.
  • Basic understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction methodologies.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Preferred knowledge of residential construction practices.
