Manufacturing Support Technician

The Lee Group is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Support Technician to join our team in Chesapeake, VA. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities- Machine Setup and Operation: Set up machines based on specifications and production requirements, operate machinery safely and efficiently during production runs, and monitor machine operations to make adjustments as needed.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment, inspect finished products for quality and consistency, and record production data and report any issues or defects.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to meet production goals, promote positive team interactions, and assist other operational groups as required.
- Safety and Housekeeping: Follow safety protocols, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and promote continuous improvement through involvement in team meetings and safety initiatives.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Skills: Ability to pass background check and drug screen, personal reliable transportation, and proficiency in the safe use of forklifts, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment
- Experience: Little to no experience required, but a strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential
- Competitive Pay: $18.19 an hour
