Position Title: Manufacturing Operations Supervisor
Summary:
The Manufacturing Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating all production activities within the facility. This position is accountable for ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining safety standards, and upholding quality control measures. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this role is classified as FLSA Exempt (salaried). Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience and industry knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage plant operations to ensure safe and efficient production of high-quality precast concrete products.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with fellow supervisors and management to promote teamwork and achieve production objectives.
- Establish and implement cost-effective strategies for managing operational expenses and workforce allocation.
- Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of company facilities and equipment, advising the Plant Manager on necessary upgrades or repairs.
- Deliver training and support to staff to meet organizational goals, emphasizing safety as a primary value.
- Promote organization, consistency, and cleanliness within the production environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with the ability to approach problems creatively.
- Proficient in computer applications and software, including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe products.
- Flexibility to work varying hours based on production needs.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in process improvement methodologies is essential.
- Knowledge of concrete production techniques is highly desirable.
- Understanding of state and federal regulations regarding employment, safety, and environmental standards.
- A demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Additional Information:
- Two shift options are available:
- 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM
