KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting clients promptly and courteously with their purchases and efficiently processing their orders.

- Guide customers through the facility as needed.
- Stay knowledgeable about all inventory products, merchandising programs, and ordering systems.
- Perform data entry and retrieval using the computer system, including entering customer orders, branch transfers, and obtaining pricing and inventory information.
- Utilize and keep updated parts technical resources.
- Understand dealership credit policies.
- Set a standard of professionalism and a positive attitude, ensuring a neat, organized, and safe work environment.
- Maintain a tidy appearance and a safe facility by organizing and cleaning the counter area and retail space.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- This role requires a full range of body motion, including handling and lifting, manual dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
- The position may involve standing, balancing, bending, or stooping for extended periods.
- Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 80 pounds.
- Requires corrected vision and hearing within normal limits.
- Ability to work under pressure or during irregular hours.
- Certification for lift trucks and basic knowledge of warehousing equipment is necessary.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Direct experience in selling light, medium, and/or heavy-duty truck parts through distribution or directly to end users.
- Proficiency in computer usage is essential.
- Knowledge of diesel engines, gas engines, drive trains, and suspensions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret vague instructions and respond effectively in various work situations.
- Must be adaptable and flexible when dealing with diverse individuals and challenging situations.
- Capable of resolving issues, managing conflicts, and making effective decisions under pressure.
- Ability to analyze information, develop work plans, prepare written materials, and articulate goals and action plans.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities.
- Must successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass a post-offer background check, physical, and drug screening.
