Job Title: Managing Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled Managing Counsel to join our team at TransUnion Risk and Alternative Data Solutions. As a key member of our legal department, you will provide expert legal support and guidance to our Data and Analytics team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide federal and state anti-discrimination legal support, including expertise on the Equal Credit Opportunity Act and Fair Housing Act.
  • Interpret and apply relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Supervise and direct testing and monitoring to identify and address potential issues.
  • Support responses to federal and state agencies, complaints, and litigation as needed.
  • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements to protect the company's interests.
Requirements:
  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree required and 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on federal and state anti-discrimination law and UDAP/UDAAP legal support.
  • Ability to influence internal and external business and regulatory issues.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
