Engineering Standards Manager

At PacifiCorp, we are seeking a highly skilled Sr Engineering Standards Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for the identification, quantification, valuation, and development of engineering standards and grid modernization resource opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven years of professional experience with distribution or transmission technologies, resource evaluation, and project management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage complex program delivery across multiple states that have significant corporate and business unit impact.
- Evaluate and establish program goals, develop delivery plans, negotiate timelines and schedules, and monitor progress against plan.
- Participate in vendor/client negotiations for large multi-year contracts.
- Direct vendor activities over long periods with significant budget implications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of seven years professional experience with distribution or transmission technologies, resource evaluation, and project management.
- Advanced technical knowledge of utility system operation, distribution or transmission, or substation technologies, smart grid technologies.
Estimated Salary: $115,900 - $136,300
