About the Position
Are you a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse seeking a new challenge? We are currently seeking a qualified RN to join our team at Middlesex Sheriff's Office (MSO) in Billerica, MA. As a Registered Nurse with MSO, you will be working in a correctional setting, providing 24-hour care to inmates and detainees.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will assist physicians with clinical duties, perform emergency services as needed, and ensure compliance with American Correctional Association (ACA) and National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) standards.

About the Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must possess an Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred. A current RN license issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and a minimum of three years of RN experience are also required. Prior experience in a correctional or similar setting is highly desirable. Ability to participate in professional development activities and work independently, as well as collaboratively with other departments, is essential.

About the Working Conditions
This position requires the ability to work in a correctional facility, which can be challenging at times.
