A dedicated clinic focused on supporting children with autism is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to enhance our expanding team.


Our clinic is designed to assist children with autism in improving their verbal and social communication skills by merging the expertise of Speech-Language Pathologists with evidence-based treatment methodologies rooted in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behavior.

Position Objectives

Oversee the delivery of speech, language, and feeding services by assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients while supervising skilled clinicians and collaborating with fellow specialists to maximize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance, training, and constructive feedback to staff to ensure the accurate implementation of client programs.
  • Conduct regular manager check-ins and quarterly performance reviews, ensuring feedback is exchanged and performance is assessed for direct reports (if applicable).
  • Work alongside the client's treatment team to develop cohesive, efficient, and effective treatment strategies.
  • Facilitate appropriate clinical recommendations based on initial diagnoses, treatment duration, and discharge plans.
  • Ensure all delivered sessions (both billable and non-billable) are documented within 24 hours of completion.
  • Complete all new and existing client assessments and reports promptly upon receiving authorization or pre-determination from billing, ensuring all services requiring payer authorization are approved prior to treatment.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships and positive experiences with families.

Requirements

Physical Requirements:

Must possess the ability to lift and carry clients and maintain various postures, including kneeling, squatting, standing, and sitting on the floor for extended periods. The candidate must also be able to move swiftly to ensure client safety.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficient knowledge of various clinical care approaches.
  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong assessment capabilities and expertise in treatment planning.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to document, monitor, and evaluate therapy progress.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to cultivate productive, professional relationships with parents, children, and other clinical staff.

Education and Experience:
For CCC-SLP:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
For SLP candidates:
Must hold a valid Speech-Language Pathologist license from the Arizona Department of Health and possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).
Must be able to obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card, as well as CPR & First Aid certification.
Proficient technology and computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Work Environment:

Engagement in sitting, standing, and movement throughout the day in a clinical setting.

Typical work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

For CCC-SLP:
$65,000+ based on experience.
For CF-SLP:
$60,000+ based on experience.

$65,000 - $80,000 per year
