Job Summary

The Human Resources Manager at Sherwin-Williams plays a critical role in shaping the company's workforce strategy. This position is responsible for developing and implementing HR initiatives that drive business results, foster a positive work environment, and promote employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with leaders to develop strategic HR plans that align with business objectives
  • Coach and consult with management teams to create an inclusive and engaging work environment
  • Implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
  • Conduct thorough investigations and provide recommendations for corrective action
  • Build a high-performance workforce by recruiting, onboarding, and retaining top talent
  • Actively build relationships with external organizations to create a diverse pipeline of qualified candidates
  • Drive succession planning to ensure a talent bench for key leadership positions
  • Develop and execute an annual site engagement action plan to promote employee satisfaction and retention
  • Maintain accurate employee data and records within HRIS and other systems
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status
  • Must have a bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Must have at least 3 years of work experience in human resources, with a focus on talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR operations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification
  • Prior work experience ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
  • Prior work experience using HRIS and/or ATS systems
  • Prior work experience maintaining an Affirmative Action Plan
  • Prior work experience maintaining and analyzing data
  • Prior work experience using timekeeping systems
