Human Resources Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at Johns Hopkins Public Safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and guidance on all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, compensation analysis, and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives to support the department's mission and goals.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and benefits administration.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process for all positions within the department.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement training programs and employee development initiatives.
- Conduct HR analytics and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues, including grievances, complaints, and disciplinary actions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure effective HR services.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Five years of progressively responsible human resources management experience, including employee relations experience.
- Master's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
