The role of the Accounting Integrations Specialist is integral to the Financial Reconciliation and Transition team. This position focuses on supporting the onboarding of new agencies, managing transitions, and overseeing interim accounting processes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment and possess strong organizational capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate the accounting onboarding process for new agencies, including the assessment of opening balances.
- Support annual tasks such as year-end audits and the preparation of 1099 documentation.
- Conduct monthly income reviews against budget forecasts and investigate discrepancies in collaboration with agencies and the accounting team.
- Provide additional assistance to the accounting team as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Experience with Vertafore platforms or similar agency management software is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline.
- Background in insurance brokerage or related industry accounting is preferred.
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliations is required.
- Familiarity with both income statements and balance sheets is essential.
- Prior experience in variance analysis is preferred.
