Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Project Engineer to lead our avionics systems development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring that cost, schedule, and technical performance commitments are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in the development of advanced avionics products for military and commercial applications.
  • Manage projects from start to finish, including hardware, software, and firmware development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new avionics products to life.
  • Engage directly with customers to lead business activities such as bids, proposals, and technical presentations.

Qualifications
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading development teams and managing technical projects with earned value management and risk management expertise.
  • Experience in developing ruggedized avionics products and knowledge of regulatory and certification requirements (TSO, MIL-STD, DO-160, DO-254, DO-178B/C).
