Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of engineers in the development of advanced avionics products for military and commercial applications.
- Manage projects from start to finish, including hardware, software, and firmware development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new avionics products to life.
- Engage directly with customers to lead business activities such as bids, proposals, and technical presentations.
- Gain exposure to industry-leading certifications and develop expertise in avionics standards, such as DO-254 and MIL-STD.
- Learn how to balance system performance with affordability, a crucial skill in developing cost-effective solutions for complex aerospace challenges.
- Advance your career by taking on leadership roles in larger, more complex projects, positioning yourself as a subject matter expert and trusted consultant within the aerospace community.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in leading development teams and managing technical projects with earned value management and risk management expertise.
- Experience in developing ruggedized avionics products and knowledge of regulatory and certification requirements (TSO, MIL-STD, DO-160, DO-254, DO-178B/C).
