Position Summary:
The Front Desk Concierge is responsible for creating a welcoming and secure atmosphere for residents by delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring safety protocols are upheld. This role involves overseeing visitor access, managing package deliveries, and maintaining the overall appearance of the lobby and entrance area. The Concierge will report directly to the Facility Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide a visible security presence on-site.
- Welcome guests and residents, building rapport with community members.
- Ensure resident approval is obtained prior to allowing guests access.
- Oversee the guest check-in process efficiently.
- Communicate resident feedback and concerns to management.
- Assist residents in submitting maintenance requests as needed.
- Monitor security systems and surveillance cameras.
- Document and report any incidents, damages, or misconduct to management.
- Keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing packages and deliveries.
- Maintain detailed shift notes and communication logs for smooth transitions between shifts.
- Report any illegal activities to the appropriate authorities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 2 years of experience in customer service or hospitality.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks; must possess a positive and engaging demeanor.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and one of the following: Spanish, Chinese, or Korean is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
- Availability to work from 12 AM to 12 PM every Saturday and Sunday.
- Flexibility to accommodate schedule changes on a quarterly basis.
COMPENSATION: $19.00 per hour
