Job Summary

Geodesicx Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Specialist III to provide defense life-cycle logistics support for electronic systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics management principles, practices, and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics Management: Provide MILSPEC packaging, handling, shipping, and transportation (PHS&T) for all material in accordance with NAVSUP P723, OPNAVINST 4030.1A, and System Specific Addendums.
  • Warehouse Operations: Conduct shipping and receiving, inventory management, tagging and labeling, Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV), Electronic Retrograde Management System (eRMS), and CMPRO database maintenance.
  • Inventory Demand Management: Perform analysis to determine minimum and maximum levels of Ready for Issue (RFI) spares.
  • Commercial Material Transportation: Provide support for local material delivery to government and military locations.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Transmit Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Document Identifier Code (DIC) transactions for requisitions that cannot be filled within specified timeframes.
  • Inventory Management: Manage NAVSUP inventory in accordance with NAVSUP P-723, Inventory Integrity Standards, and NAVSUP Internal Control Aids (ICA)/Lines of Effort (LOE) procedures.
  • Asset Verification: Conduct Not Ready for Issue (NRFI) Screening/Testing to verify failure occurrence and process assets for repair or warranty replacement as necessary.
  • Configuration Verification: Verify requisitions using Allowance Parts Lists (APLs) and CDMDOA, as well as other configuration information, to ensure properly configured material is provided.
Requirements
  • Experience: Seven (7) years of experience in defense life-cycle logistics support of electronic systems, including logistics management principles, practices, and processes.
  • System Support: At least four (4) years of support with C4ISR or similar systems, including analyzing engineering/systems management data, developing logistics plans and procedures, and developing logistics management plans and guidelines.

  • Bachelor's Degree: Required
