Job Summary:

Mary Cariola Center is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Behavior Analyst to join our Intensive Behavior Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) for individuals in our program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct FBAs and develop BSPs for individuals in the Intensive Behavior Services program
  • Work closely with parents, caregivers, clinical experts, and other service providers as needed
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements for FBAs, BSPs, and other documentation
  • Adapt BSPs to support individuals in new environments as needed
  • Provide training on BSPs to family members, caregivers, and others providing services to the individual
  • Create effective data systems to support monitoring of BSPs in homes and community-based settings
  • Evaluate the ongoing effectiveness of BSPs by analyzing data
  • Support individuals and their families/caregivers during transitions out of the Intensive Behavior Services program
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with schools/day programs to develop, coordinate, and maintain integration between programs, homes, and community settings
  • Support the implementation of evidence-based practices
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current in the field of Behavior Analysis
  • Maintain accurate and current records for each individual on caseload, including data collection and administrative procedures in compliance with OPWDD

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field
  • NYS Licensure in Behavior Analysis
  • Valid NYS Driver's License
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, including interpreting documents such as safety rules and policy and procedure manuals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA)
  • 3+ years of experience conducting FBAs and developing BSPs
