Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair of our residential apartment communities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring the timely completion of work orders, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise a team of maintenance technicians to ensure the timely completion of work orders and maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the community's grounds, amenities, and buildings to identify and address any maintenance or repair issues.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure that all maintenance and repair work is completed to a high standard.
  • Develop and maintain a budget for maintenance and repair expenses and ensure that all expenses are tracked and reported accurately.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and respond promptly to any maintenance or repair requests.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance and repair work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance and repair.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in building and mechanical maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience supervising or managing a team of maintenance technicians.
  • Extensive experience with vendor management and contract negotiation.
  • Strong administrative skills, including communication, organizational, project management, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in the use of application software and modern technology.
  • Valid driver's license.
