About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Administrative Associate to join our team at UNC Health. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our medical offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to healthcare providers and staff, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating meetings.
  • Process and manage patient payments, insurance claims, and other financial transactions.
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of our medical offices.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • One year of administrative experience in a healthcare setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies.
