Key Responsibilities
  • Program Administration: Lead the administration of global data center upgrade and retrofit projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Program Budgeting: Develop and manage program budgets, cash flow, and commitments, working closely with our Cost Control team to secure approval.

  • Reporting and Forecasting: Draft program reporting for client management reviews, providing health of program schedule, budget, and performance, identifying key risks and program opportunities.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Update quarterly forecast, budget spend status, and secure management approval on funding requests.
  • Process Optimization: Drive improvement in upgrade and retrofit program processes and documentation/workflow through collaborator feedback and/or measurement of important metrics.
  • Field Execution: Develop plans for improved field execution and delivery across project constraints of schedule, efficiency, and costs.
  • Project Execution Mentorship: Provide project execution mentorship throughout the end-to-end project lifecycle, assessing potential construction workarounds to avoid project slips.
  • Team Management: Lead a team, including key stakeholders, project controls team, contractors, and A&E design team, to build and establish the Master Project Timeline and Master Project Budget.
  • Talent Assessment: Evaluate technical issues and develop potential solutions for review with key partners.
  • Design Support: Support Design Team activities by participating in schematic and design development reviews.
  • Site Support: Support data center site teams as needed with contractor pre-qualification, bid solicitation, bid analysis, and recommendations.
  • Constructability Reviews: Participate in constructability reviews of project documents.
  • Value Engineering: Provide input to site teams on Value Engineering efforts.
  • Risk Management: Lead project teams in developing, assessing, and evaluating program and project risks.
  • Cost Management: Lead program costs and change controls.
  • Program Dashboards: Lead program dashboards and monthly program updates, securing updates from site teams and coordinating.
  • Lessons Learned: Build and maintain lessons learned log for programs.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate and manage all Owner-direct vendors working with supply chain and consultants.
  • Close Out Documentation: Establish close out documentation requirements and distribute to site teams.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of direct and matrix reports, including recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action, and termination.
  • Staffing and Development: Monitor staffing levels and report on utilization and deployment of human resources, leading and supporting staff in areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention.
  • Leadership: Lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with the company's RISE values.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Project Management, or Engineering preferred.
  • Experience: At least 5+ years of previous program management experience, with at least 3 years focused on data center infrastructure or critical environments.
  • Methodologies: Formal Program Management methods and standard methodologies.
  • Cross-Functional Team Participation: Cross-functional team participation in a high-tech, multifaceted environment.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Delivering High-Quality Programs: Proven track record in delivering high-quality programs.
  • Complex Challenges: Passionate about solving complex challenges with aggressive timelines.
  • Change Management: Strong change management experience in development, implementation, and execution.
  • Technical, Interpersonal, and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent technical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills required.

  • Business Applications: Proficient with standard business applications and tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite. Primavera P6 knowledge is preferred.
