Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Prevention of Sexual Abuse Compliance Manager to join our team at Hannah's Children's Homes. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies to ensure prompt and effective response to incidents of sexual abuse.
  • Supervise and support certified sexual abuse counselors and assistant managers in their roles.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on sexual assault screening and recognition for agency staff and foster parents.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to preventing, detecting, and responding to sexual abuse and harassment.
  • Screen and investigate all Special Incidents and police reports related to sexual abuse or harassment.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all complaint investigations and incidents.
  • Provide crisis interventions and support to staff and service recipients.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with employees, recipients, community contacts, and regulatory personnel.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in social work, sexual abuse prevention, counseling, and abuse prevention is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of abuse laws and protocols.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with victims and staff.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in coordinating and reporting with law enforcement agencies.
  • Previous counseling experience and conflict resolution skills.
  • Telephone etiquette and proofreading skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
