Job Title: Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network in San Bernardino, CA.

About the Role:

The Direct Support Professional will provide person-centered support to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting their health, safety, and well-being. This role involves assisting with daily routines, meal preparation, and providing transportation as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve meals, and assist with clean-up
  • Provide transportation to and from appointments and activities
  • Support clients with medication management and administration
  • Document client progress and provide regular updates to supervisors
Requirements:
  • Direct Support Professional Certificate (Year 1 & Year 2) or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months of hire
  • First Aid/CPR and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
  • Valid California Driver's License
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and work in various weather conditions
