Key Responsibilities
  1. Growth Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive social media and digital marketing strategies that improve brand awareness, increase engagement, and drive business objectives.
  2. Leadership: Lead and mentor the team, encouraging an environment of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement while also representing the team in senior-level meetings to articulate the team's strategies, achievements, and needs.
  3. Analytics and Reporting: Regularly analyze and report on the performance of digital campaigns to senior leaders and executives, using insights to inform our strategic marketing direction, including user acquisition strategies.
  4. Trend Monitoring: Stay abreast of the latest social media trends, tools, and technologies, incorporating innovative practices to keep the brand at the forefront of the digital landscape.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other marketing leaders to develop and execute successful omnichannel marketing strategies that integrate social media in meaningful and impactful ways.
  6. Required In-Office Days: Spend 2 days in the office on Monday and Wednesday.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience leading social media and digital marketing teams, ideally in the mobile gaming or digital advertising industries.
  2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Social Media, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
  3. Strong understanding of social growth strategies and how owned and operated channels can help drive performance in user acquisition.
  4. Strong background in both ATL and BTL marketing techniques, with specific examples of past campaigns where integration led to measurable success.
  5. Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to work effectively with creatives, agencies, and internal teams at all levels.
  6. Highly analytical with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  7. Experience working with third-party IP, operating within strict brand standards, and navigating brand feedback and approval processes.
  8. Passion for mobile gaming and a deep understanding of the gaming audience.
  9. Plus, if you have a strong familiarity and knowledge of the Pokémon and Pokémon GO brands.
  10. Comfortable working in a fast-paced hybrid environment and handling stress appropriately, or the ability to solve practical problems and be sufficiently adaptable to handle dynamic situations with little advance notice.
  11. Experience working on cross-functional teams with the ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communications, including synchronous interactions with others.
What We Offer

The total compensation package for this position includes a new hire offer base salary range of $210,600 - $234,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by work location and additional factors, including assessed job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
