Position Overview:

Our team is focused on delivering safe and efficient operations while providing cost-effective, clean-burning LNG for diverse markets including marine, power generation, export, rail, and mining.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and oversee the natural gas amine and liquefaction systems for LNG production.
  • Supervise the loading and unloading processes of LNG at both the plant and marine fueling terminal.
  • Work on a rotating shift schedule (7/7) that includes all holidays and weekends, ensuring all operational duties are fulfilled, including emergency callouts and travel between facilities.
  • Manage equipment operations and processes related to the liquefaction of natural gas, including the transfer of LNG to storage units.
  • Continuously monitor plant and terminal conditions from the main control room, responding promptly to alarms and any irregularities.
  • Identify operational issues, analyze data, and adjust process parameters as necessary.
  • Handle high-pressure gas, cryogenic liquids, and high-temperature machinery safely.
  • Document daily, weekly, and monthly operational data, including temperatures, pressures, and flow rates, ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors, assisting colleagues and contractors as needed.
  • Support LNG transfer operations at the terminal while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
  • Keep comprehensive records for regulated facilities, including procedures, maintenance logs, and emergency response plans.
  • Ensure safety and security protocols are upheld at both the plant and terminal, monitoring access to facilities.
  • Evaluate and address facility alarms and operational conditions effectively.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the plant and terminal, ensuring proper housekeeping practices.
  • Assist with or perform maintenance on plant equipment as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • 2-3 years of experience in natural gas or process operations is essential.
  • Experience with fuel transfer operations is preferred.
  • Knowledge of PHMSA and USCG regulations is advantageous.
  • Forklift operator certification is a plus.
  • Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule to support continuous operations.
  • A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is necessary.

Desired Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to read and interpret P&ID diagrams.
  • Familiarity with DOT, NFPA, OSHA, and PHMSA regulations.
  • Experience with computer console (HMI) monitoring.
  • Capability to work in environments with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Mechanical skills and proficiency in using tools and equipment.
  • Ability to safely work at heights, including on top of LNG tanks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, along with strong decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient troubleshooting skills and a solid understanding of mechanical and control systems.
  • Mathematical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities under pressure.
