Hardware System Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-performance hardware systems for our cutting-edge products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative ideas to life.
  • Work closely with mechanical design and software development teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and specifications.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform design decisions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in designing electronics and/or embedded systems.
  • Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals, including high-speed buses, analog/digital design, signal/power integrity, etc.
  • Hands-on experience in prototyping, bring-up, debug, and validation.
  • Comfortable working in a lab environment with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, frequency counters, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience designing high-volume products from beginning to end and dealing with contract manufacturers.
  • Familiarity with leading PCB technology and electrical design and characterization of PCIe, USB, Display Port, MIPI, and I2C/SPI/UART buses.
  • Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: CPU/SOC, power (DC-DC converters, battery, power management, low power design), analog circuits, audio/camera/display/wireless integration and measurement, sensor design and integration.
