Job Summary:

The Ash Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex hardware systems, leading multidisciplinary product engineering teams, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive design development from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Design and develop complex hardware systems, including circuit design, system bring-up, integration, and debug, with a focus on low-power circuit design, DC/DC converters, power management methods, audio circuit design, high-speed signals, and analog design.
  • Team Leadership: Lead multidisciplinary product engineering teams, overseeing mechanical, electrical, and firmware workstreams, and ensuring integration between disciplines.
  • Systems Engineering: Develop systems-level engineering experience with complex integrated electromechanical assemblies, including RF technologies such as WIFI, BT, GPS, etc.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive design development from concept to production, including prototyping and testing.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with 7+ years of end-to-end integrated product development experience.

Requirements:

  • Circuit Design: Experience with circuit design, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and assembly.
  • Protocols and Integration: Experience with various communications protocols, such as I2C, UART, SPI, USB, MIPI CSI/DSI, I2S, LPDDR, SDIO, etc.
  • Design Tools: Experience with Altium or Cadence design tools.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Strong collaborator with excellent communication skills, experience with cross-team and cross-geography collaboration.
