Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager to join our team at the Indiana University Foundation. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing large and small-scale business plans to strengthen our relationships with alumni and donors, drive business growth, enhance brand visibility, and develop and achieve specific marketing objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing successful marketing strategies and media/marketing/communication plans, with a strong focus on lead generation and pipeline development. You will be responsible for building message maps and email journeys, as well as analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for engagement and fundraising improvement.

We are looking for a creative and innovative thinker who can excel at extrapolating organizational needs, synthesizing business partner challenges, and designing robust marketing strategies and executable plans to realize results. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute large and small-scale business plans to drive business growth and enhance brand visibility
  • Build and maintain relationships with alumni and donors to strengthen our relationships and drive fundraising efforts
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and media/marketing/communication plans to achieve specific marketing objectives
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for engagement and fundraising improvement
  • Design and implement message maps and email journeys to engage and retain alumni and donors

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising, or a related field
  • 5-8 years of account management/client service experience in an ad agency, in-house environment, university, or corporate setting
  • 5+ years of progressive and proven experience in marketing, fundraising, donor relations, alumni relations, or a related field within the nonprofit sector

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA preferred, but not required
  • Additional for-profit marketing experience is a plus

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $65,000-$75,000
