About the Role

We are looking for a Child Development Assistant to join our team at Lulac Head Start Inc. In this role, you will assist lead teachers in creating a nurturing and educational environment for young children.

Your duties will include assisting with daily activities, supervising children during playtime, and providing basic care such as feeding and diapering. You will also work closely with parents and families to ensure that children are meeting developmental milestones.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for working with young children, and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, current CDA preferred, previous experience working with young children, and the ability to pass a background check. Reliability and punctuality are also essential.

Salary Range: $42,000 - $52,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
