Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide direct services to suspected and confirmed child victims of sex trafficking. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a strong background in social work, with a focus on trauma recovery and child advocacy.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Implement Love146's Survivor Care program services with a standard of excellence.
  2. Provide direct services to suspected and confirmed child victims of sex trafficking, including crisis intervention and safety planning, individual counseling, advocacy/accompaniment to medical, law enforcement, court, and academic appointments, transportation assistance, and documentation of all client-related activities.
  3. Collaborate and participate in case meetings with providers involved with program participants to advocate for and coordinate service delivery.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess a social work license in the State of Connecticut (or ability to transfer license to Connecticut) and a minimum one year experience providing direct services to children at high-risk for trafficking. You should also have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as advanced problem-solving skills and ability to find creative solutions.
