Key Responsibilities:
  • Under the guidance of the Director of Nursing, the RN Supervisor applies nursing principles and assessment skills to create and implement tailored nursing care plans that address residents' needs.
  • Oversees the orientation and supervision of nursing staff, manages daily unit operations, and takes on leadership responsibilities as required.
  • Engages actively in direct resident assessments and care.
  • Supervises and coordinates nursing staff to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations in resident care.
  • Develops individualized nursing care plans using the nursing process.
  • Conducts daily assessments of each resident and adjusts care plans as necessary.
  • Participates in the training and oversight of nursing personnel.
  • Effectively utilizes leadership and supervisory principles.
