Director of Children, Youth and Family Services

United Counseling Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Children, Youth and Family Services Division. As the Director of Children, Youth and Family Services, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and supervision of our programming in this division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative supervision and leadership for the division, including staff, programs, and systems of supervision and direction.
  • Monitor budgets, spending, billing, and record keeping, ensuring cost containment and compliance with agency KPIs and Payment Reform requirements.
  • Develop and implement fundraising events for programs, as necessary, and manage consultation and counseling contracts.
  • Participate in the UCS leadership team, providing input and decision-making for agency-wide policies and issues, intra-departmental planning, problem-solving, and coordination.
  • Represent the agency in local and state-wide meetings and advocacy, and serve as a liaison to community agencies, state and local governments, and other funding sources.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, or related counseling field.
  • Licensure, or on track for licensure, in Vermont as a Social Worker, Psychologist, or Mental Health Professional, preferred.
  • Supervisory and management/leadership experience required.
  • Valid Driver's License.
