Business Development Executive

At Iron Mountain, we're committed to preserving the power of work for our customers, employees, and the planet. We're seeking a Business Development Executive to join our team and help drive net new sales and revenue from prospective and existing customer accounts.
As a Business Development Executive, you'll be responsible for assessing customer needs, determining appropriate Iron Mountain products and solutions, and building customer relationships to understand organizational business objectives and goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing customer needs and determining appropriate Iron Mountain products and solutions
- Building customer relationships to understand organizational business objectives and goals
- Partnering with key customer decision makers to structure business strategy
- Ensuring frequent communication to enable superior customer satisfaction
- Continuously prospecting to develop new clients and expand existing relationships
- Maintaining a consistent pipeline that enables meeting/exceeding quota
- Managing timely detailed RFP responses, tracking in SFDC, forecasting, and competitive research
- Identifying, selling, and closing new areas of opportunity, securing resources, and driving sales
Key skills and requirements include:
- Expertise in strategic account management, sales process, and solution selling
- Proven ability to translate customer needs into solution requirements
- Influence and negotiate through proven sales skills and needs identification
- Exhibiting excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills through power messaging
- Strong personal, planning, analytical skills; business acumen for decision making
- Team effectively at all levels (including C-suite) on wide-ranging topics and issues
- Four-year college degree with 4-7 years' experience preferred
We offer a competitive salary range of $101,000 to $135,000, plus uncapped commission and bonus structure after exceeding annual quota. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision insurance on day one, guaranteed base salary pay, Monday-Friday full weekday schedule, paid time off, paid volunteer days, and more.
