Job Summary:

We are looking for a self-motivated and dedicated individual to handle customer calls in a prompt and efficient manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing all client needs, including server hardware break-fix and IMAC support, as well as smart hand support for network equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and support systems/equipment (DELL, Oracle, IBM, and Client Servers)
• Diagnose, analyze, and repair product failures, order and replace parts as needed
• Follow all client policy and procedures, adhere to best practices
• Present problem resolution or refer more complex issues to a Sr. Support Engineer
• Maintain parts and inventory
• Document activity and demonstrate strong organizational skills
• Express a positive attitude and strong analytical skills

Requirements:

• Extensive server and hardware trouble-shooting experience required
• Ability to replace all hardware components in a large-scale data center
• Experienced with all generations of Dell, Oracle, Lenovo, and Client servers and blades
• Ability to learn and adhere to new procedures
• Working experience with Remote Access Cards (IDRAC, ILOM, ILO, etc.)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to provide technical updates
• Proficient at administrative tasks and paperwork
• A self-starter with the ability to work independently without supervision and within a team environment
• CompTia A+ Certification is a plus
• CompTia Server+ Certification is a plus
• Dell Certification is a plus
• Client Certification is a plus
• IBM Certification is a plus
