Job Summary

TEKsystems is seeking a skilled Data Center Technician to support our team in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Remove network cables as part of datacenter decommissioning and ensure proper disposal.
  • Utilize ticketing systems to manage and track work orders.
  • Login to chassis managers to monitor and control datacenter operations.
  • Run, label, and stage power and networking cables to ensure seamless datacenter operations.
  • Unbox, move, and stage datacenter accessories for deployments, adhering to quality standards.
  • Perform physical audits of datacenter assets to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify cabling and labeling standards to ensure compliance.
  • Handle complex RMA and swap parts, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Scope, test, QC, and troubleshoot power and cable connections to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have experience supporting production environments.
  • Prior datacenter experience is essential for success in this role.
