Workday HRIS Analyst

Lakeshore Talent is seeking an HRIS Analyst to support the management of daily system support and maintenance within Workday. This role will focus on HCM data transactions and reporting, acting as a key contact for the HR Services team. The analyst will document system processes, procedures, and assist in training end users throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for the production environment, collaborating with the HR Services team to resolve inquiries and provide detailed solutions.
  • Handle Tier 2 Workday HCM transaction inquiries from the HR Services team, working closely with team members to troubleshoot system issues.
  • Execute transactions in Workday to support both field personnel and Support Centers.
  • Ensure data integrity by running queries and analyzing information.
  • Identify and implement process improvements as issues arise.
  • Manage or assist in processing hires, job changes, terminations, and organizational changes, including location and supervisory assignments.
  • Employ innovative thinking and demonstrate urgency in action.
  • Assist in reviewing, testing, implementing, and communicating Workday upgrades.
  • Document enhanced processes and results, aiding in training coordination through various communication methods.
  • Conduct routine audits of system security, processes, permissions, and approvals.
  • Develop basic HRIS training materials for new hires in Support Centers or field locations.
  • Support integration efforts and maintain issue logs between Workday and other systems or vendors.
  • Generate and execute reports, metrics, and dashboards for business partners and management to leverage Workday data.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with HR systems, including report generation and data management.
  • Proficiency in Workday reporting and understanding of organizational data.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
  • Experience providing support to internal HR stakeholders.
  • Strong skills in Excel, particularly with pivot tables and v-lookups.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in directly supporting HR systems for managers and employees.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Competence in handling sensitive data with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Strong analytical skills and capability to build relationships across all organizational levels.
