Maintenance Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at Hopkins Health Services. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance of our center and managing our maintenance budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance of all center systems, including emergency generators, sprinkler systems, door alarms, call light systems, hood/duct systems, and hot water systems.
  • Conduct routine tests and inspections to ensure the safe and efficient operation of these systems.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the life of our equipment.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance schedules.
  • Collaborate with our facilities management team to ensure that all maintenance activities are aligned with our business objectives.
  • Develop and implement energy-efficient solutions to reduce our environmental impact and lower our energy costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to maintenance and facilities management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as facilities management, engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a healthcare or similar industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing maintenance budgets and teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft products.
  • Able to work on-call and respond to emergency situations as needed.
