Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance of all center systems, including emergency generators, sprinkler systems, door alarms, call light systems, hood/duct systems, and hot water systems.
  • Conduct routine tests and inspections to ensure the safe and efficient operation of these systems.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the life of our equipment.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance schedules.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Develop and manage the annual maintenance budget, ensuring that all expenses are aligned with our organizational goals and objectives.
  • Supervise and train maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in facilities management, and implement new technologies and techniques as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as facilities management, engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft products.
  • Able to work on-call and respond to emergency situations as needed.
