Job Summary

The Regulatory Risk Sr Officer I is a strategic professional who closely follows the latest trends in their field and adapts them for application within their job and the business. This role requires excellent communication skills to negotiate internally, often at a senior level, and developed communication and diplomacy skills to guide, influence, and convince others. The successful candidate will be accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead risk financial forecasting efforts, including designing and maintaining complex credit loss and financial risk forecasting models.
  • Conduct cost of credit and delinquency analyses and monitoring product trends to identify key areas of risks-opportunities.
  • Provide risk strategic analytics, information management across Citibank products and reports to senior management.
  • Communicate to executive management implications of existing and opposed regulation and develop potential responses.
  • Manage regulatory risk project ownership, including business requirements, analysis, and testing for delivery of regulatory solutions.
  • Analyze new risk-related guidelines, best practice standards, rules, and regulations.
  • Direct the approach to answering questions and involve appropriate Risk functions in Citi with audits and regulators.
  • Provide project management of various deliverables for Portfolio Risk Review chapter.
  • Interact with senior bank and risk management colleagues, as well as external stakeholders such as regulators/auditors.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Broad understanding of classifiable and delinquency managed credit and operational policies and procedures.
  • Experience in credit card risk management or equivalent training and experience preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of financial and risk reporting, as well as experience from the business and/or technical area.
  • Familiarity with the regulatory landscape facing global banks.
Education

Bachelor's/University degree in business, statistics, mathematics, economics, or equivalent. Master's degree preferred.
