With over two decades of experience mobilizing voters, our members have successfully facilitated millions of outreach efforts, resulting in a substantial increase in voter participation.
We are dedicated to employing the best practices based on thorough research, continuous program evaluations, and innovative strategies, all while utilizing cutting-edge technologies and systems.
Our offerings include comprehensive campaign planning, high-quality canvassing programs, professional training in get-out-the-vote (GOTV) initiatives, targeted outreach, goal setting, data management, and the recruitment and training of skilled personnel for large-scale community engagement efforts. We also provide onboarding, payroll, and HR support services.
We are currently in search of a Bilingual Community Outreach Specialist to contribute to vital community initiatives.
Position Requirements
- Availability to work 30+ hours weekly, including weekends during peak voting periods.
- Exceptional listening abilities and the capacity to maintain structured dialogues with voters.
- Comfortable working within a highly organized team setting.
- Ability to canvass independently and during evening hours.
- Possession of a mobile phone for data entry related to work tasks.
- Capability to meet basic performance metrics such as doors knocked and voter interactions.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Openness to learning and constructive feedback for personal growth.
- Ability to adapt and enhance work practices based on performance metrics.
- Capacity to work through entire shifts without scheduled breaks.
- Must have a vehicle, valid driver's license, and proof of insurance.
- Basic navigation skills are essential for efficient travel to assigned communities.
- Bilingual proficiency is advantageous.
- Compliance with COVID safety protocols, including vaccination records or bi-weekly testing.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted door-to-door outreach in designated communities.
- Inform community members about the voting process and endorsed candidates.
- Distribute educational materials and candidate support information door-to-door.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings as required.
- Record all necessary data regarding outreach efforts and report results (e.g., doors knocked, voters engaged).
- Document any challenges faced in the field and propose solutions to overcome them.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Must not engage with other candidates during employment.
