Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service Functions:
    • Greet visitors and guide them to exam rooms.
    • Answer telephones and respond to client inquiries.
  • Scheduling and Confirmation:

  • Communication and Education:
    • Present and explain fees to clients, including processing payments.
    • Recommend and obtain products and services, including prescriptions.
    • Answer questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care.
  • Medical Records and Correspondence:
    • Manage medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence.
  • Hospital Maintenance:
    • Ensure the hospital is clean and well-maintained, including removal of animal waste.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least one year of proven experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent listening and communication skills.
    • Compassion for pets and people.
    • Proven decision-making skills.
    • Ability to integrate new information into problem-solving.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and be exposed to hazards associated with pets.
