Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain cordial relationships with customers, ensuring prompt attention to their inquiries and resolving their problems to grant them maximum satisfaction.
  • Inform and suggest new banking products to customers, providing information on their account balance, status, and check or payment clearing history.
  • Ensure compliance with all Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines in performing duties.
  • Protect customers' confidential information and use it only for official purposes.
  • Improve customers' banking experience by ensuring prompt attention and resolving all banking challenges without delay.
  • Conduct effective checking sales presentations, recommending appropriate accounts and asking for customers' business.
  • Introduce customers to the Tell-A-Friend program and hand out Tell-A-Friend coupons with an enthusiastic explanation.
  • Help customers understand their in-person and digital banking options, allowing them to select the channel that best suits their personal preference.
  • Expand technology penetration of retail and business clients by proactively using customer convenience channels.
  • Open new accounts and service existing accounts according to operational procedures, ensuring required documentation is received and archived.
  • Minimize deposit exceptions and address them quickly to prevent account closure due to documentation exceptions.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Five years of banking experience in account opening, servicing, and maintenance, with demonstrated proficiency in these tasks.
  • Effective listening skills, with the ability to listen to others without interruptions and provide solutions or contributions.
  • Patient and willing to help others solve problems while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Proven record of outstanding customer service.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in banking platforms and common office software and systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to influence people.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to sit in front of a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to travel, as needed.
