ROLE SUMMARY

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Duties

  • Create target account lists in collaboration with sales representatives.

Research & Strategy / Business Analysis

  • Aid in the implementation of the overarching strategy and market entry plan.
  • Conduct and present business evaluations in conjunction with Division Product Management.
  • Assist Medline Sales and Product Management teams in leveraging the business analysis.
  • Prepare and deliver business evaluations/plans to Medline teams to ensure feasibility within budget, timeline, and environmental constraints.
  • Guide Medline teams in preparing and presenting customer needs assessments to ensure feasibility within budget, timeline, and environmental constraints.
  • Develop competitive analysis materials comparing products with primary competitors by collaborating with the PM team in the division.

Client Engagement

  • Prepare and deliver technical/clinical proposals demonstrating how Medline's products can fulfill customer requirements and how they can be seamlessly integrated and implemented.
  • In support of the sales team, cultivate relationships with decision-makers and external customer stakeholders to gather and relay feedback to the Division regarding customer needs and support specialists.
  • Provide comprehensive presentations and product demonstrations to clients and sales representatives.

Program Implementation / Execution

  • Oversee various stages from program development, trial assistance, to implementation.
  • Assist Medline sales representatives with inquiries via various communication methods.
  • May maintain an ongoing role in customer support to resolve client issues related to the use of organizational products/services.
  • Conduct physical product transitions when divisional support is required.

Training / Education

  • Design and deliver customer training sessions and technical education.
  • Create product training and resource materials (tools, resources, presentations, manuals).
  • Monitor and evaluate quality inquiries or customer complaints. Troubleshoot issues and assist in diagnosing the type of problem (education, product).

Product Innovation

  • Conduct market research and identify and monitor market trends impacting sales, service, and product development.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for product enhancements and potential new offerings in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Identify trends from requests and information through interactions with sales to ascertain market needs and potential innovations.

Performance Measurement / Utilization Review

  • Collaborate with clients to track their metrics and utilization.
  • Monitor sales forecast objectives. Document activities on accounts and assist in closing deals to achieve these objectives.
  • Provide updates on key account closures, implementation timelines, and revenue generation.
  • Product Knowledge / Industry Insight
  • Serve as the product authority within the organization to contribute to the development of technical presentations and product strategies.
  • Engage with professional organizations; attend national, regional, and local industry events, and technical training sessions.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a business or clinical discipline.

Work Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years in product management, product development, or sales experience.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Proven foundational knowledge of products, customer needs, and market demands.
  • Ability to analyze market trends to effectively create presentations, offer recommendations, and forecast business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated capability in collaborating with cross-functional teams and facilitating efforts to identify and implement solutions to complex challenges.
  • Proven ability to assess situations and initiate actions independently.
  • Strong time management skills, including prioritizing, organizing, and tracking details while meeting deadlines for multiple projects with varying completion dates.
  • Experience in developing and delivering presentations to diverse audience levels within and outside the organization.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Position generally requires travel 50% to 75% of the time for business purposes.
  • Work environment includes office settings and medical facilities.
  • Position may necessitate non-traditional work hours during training sessions.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$85, $123,760.00 Annual

This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on the applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is eligible for bonuses and/or incentives. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
