Reception and Cash Handling Specialist

Role Summary:
The Customer Service Associate is essential as the first point of interaction, providing superior customer care and fostering a friendly environment for all guests. Key responsibilities include managing the front desk, processing transactions, and assisting with various administrative tasks as needed. This is a full-time role within the automotive sector, located in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Compensation & Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:
- Professionally greet and assist customers
- Manage incoming calls and take accurate messages
- Process payments and oversee cash handling
- Aid in scheduling appointments and maintaining the service department's calendar
- Coordinate service loaner vehicles for customers as required
- Keep the front desk and reception area clean and organized
- Assist with administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent service
- Build strong relationships with customers to enhance their experience
- Follow company policies and procedures diligently
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 12 years of experience in customer service, ideally within the automotive industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and open to learning new software
- Ability to multitask and manage high volumes of calls and transactions
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus
