Commercial Relationship Manager II

At Provident Bank, we are committed to enhancing our customer and employees' experience. We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Relationship Manager II to join our team.

Job Summary

This is a senior-level position responsible for origination, evaluation, and structuring of complex loan requests and transactions. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing new business and increasing or retaining existing business within the framework of the bank's policy and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solicit credit-worthy potential and existing customers to develop new business and increase or retain existing business.
  • Oversee the preparation of loan presentations, including detailed financial analysis and assessment of borrower's financial capacity and creditworthiness.
  • Assess lending risks, identify offsetting mitigants, and make recommendations on loan structure, demonstrating sound credit judgment.
  • Establish and promote customer and community relationships, cross-sell other bank products and services, and maintain awareness of market conditions and competition.
  • Manage all aspects of assigned loan portfolio, emphasizing covenant and bank policy compliance, credit quality, and delinquency control.
  • Facilitate closing of loan transactions with strict compliance with approved terms and conditions.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of related experience within the financial industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Comprehensive loan analysis experience.
  • Comprehensive financial analysis experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of underwriting techniques.
  • Proven new business track record.
  • Strong oral, written, and communication and management skills.
  • Proficient with software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Argus).
Working Conditions

This role requires prolonged sitting, lifting from 5 to 10 lbs, and occasional bending or overhead lifting.
