Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and prioritize tasks to align with project objectives.
  • Conduct thorough stress evaluations of aircraft fuselage components, utilizing both traditional analysis techniques and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
  • Assess and interpret design modifications.
  • Verify compliance with fatigue, static, and dynamic load requirements.
  • Create comprehensive stress substantiation documentation.
  • Formulate or assess structural qualification strategies in line with OEM standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Review and validate vendor designs, stress analyses, and testing reports as necessary.
  • Collaborate with design engineers, project leads, suppliers, and technical management to ensure design integrity and regulatory compliance.
  • Engage in regular design evaluations, presenting stress analysis results and challenging design proposals.
  • Compile and present progress reports to communicate project objectives.
  • Exhibit a strong commitment to completing assignments efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Required Degree: Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years in Aerospace Structural Analysis.
  • Proficiency: Familiarity with analytical methods and tools.
  • Expertise: Experience with both Composite and Metallic structures.
  • Knowledge in static (FE and free body), fatigue, and transient analysis, specifically using Nastran, Patran, and Abaqus.
  • Able to perform detailed stress assessments through both classical calculations and Finite Element methods.
  • In-depth understanding of Engineering Mechanics and Material Strength.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
