Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new structural systems and products for aerospace applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate structural systems with other aircraft systems
  • Perform static and dynamic analyses to ensure structural integrity and safety
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
  • Work closely with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 14 years of experience in structural design and development for aerospace applications
  • Advanced knowledge of computer-aided engineering tools and finite element analysis
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary design teams and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with engineering simulation using finite element analysis tools
  • Knowledge of industry-standard mechanical design principles and practices
  • Ability to author technical reports and documentation
  • Background in the aerospace and defense industry, specifically aircraft production and modification
