About the Role

We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our swing shift team. As a Critical Care Veterinary Technician, you'll work closely with our veterinarians to provide advanced hospitalization care, perform in-house laboratories, and administer medications. Your strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care for critical cases, consistently evaluating patient needs
  • Calculate CRI's and provide advanced hospitalization care
  • Perform in-house laboratories and administer medications
  • Place IV catheters and provide safe restraint for fractious patients
  • Obtain TPR's, keep medical records, and understand when to alert DVM
  • Advocate for patients and clients
Requirements
  • High school diploma
  • 2+ years of clinical experience in the veterinary industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Active CA state RVT license preferred but not required
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly wage: $30-$40/hour (RVT) or $26-$34/hour (VA)
  • 4/10 schedule with a $3 hourly shift differential for swing shifts
  • Full-time benefits, including health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance
