Job Summary:

As an Audiologist at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating hearing disorders. Your expertise will help differentiate between various types of hearing disorders, and you will work closely with physicians to develop effective treatment plans. Your responsibilities will include providing diagnostic evaluations, counseling patients, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations to identify hearing disorders and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing health and management of hearing disorders.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in audiology to provide the best possible care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
Basic Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (AuD) prior to employment start date.
  • One year of experience in diagnostic evaluation of hearing, prevention, habilitation, and rehabilitation services for auditory problems.
Additional Requirements:
  • Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
  • Dispensing Audiologist license required if dispensing hearing aids.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One year of post-licensure experience in the field of audiology.
